Timothy Gager


Timothy Gager has published four collections of poetry in the past five years. His most recent, These Poems Are Not Pink Clouds, (Propganda Press) was released at the end of 2008. He hosts the Dire Literary Series in Cambridge, Massachusetts every month and is the co-founder of Somerville News Writers Festival and The Heat City Literary Review. Gager's poetry has been published in Right Hand Pointing, Blue Print Review, Spare Change, Third Lung Review and Night Train. His poetry has been nominated for two Cambridge Poetry Awards. A graduate of the University of Delaware, Timothy now lives in Dedham, Massachusetts.

Maurice Oliver


Maurice Oliver spent a decade of his life as a freelance photographer in Europe before turning to poetry, though it might be more accurate to say he arrived at poetry from photography. In 1995 he decided to travel around the world and instead of taking pictures, he recorded the experience in a journal, which eventually became hundreds of poems. Since then, his work has been published in Bullfight Review, Wordriot, Stride Magazine, and The Potomac Journal. He is now the editor of "Concelebratory Shoehorn Review" and he currently lives in Portland, Oregon.

Christopher Barnes


Christopher Barnes won the Northern Arts Writers Award in 1998 and became immediately active in the literary circles of Newcastle, UK. He published his debut poetry collection, Lovebites, in 2005 (Chanticleer Press, 6/1 Jamaica Mews, Edinburgh). A british poet who collaborates with artists of all creative arts, Barnes performs numerous poetry readings per year, reviews poetry and makes films. In May of 2006 Barnes had a solo art/poetry exhibit. He lives in Newcastle, UK.

John Grey


Australian born poet, playwright, and musician, John Grey has been a U.S. resident since late 70's. Grey has published a number of books and small press collections. His latest collection is What Else Is There (Main Street Rag) and his latest chapbook is The Bum On Your Avenue (Phony Lid Publications). His work has appeared in Zygote, The Pedestal, Writers Bloc and is forthcoming in Pennsylvania English and the Connecticut Review. John Grey now lives in Providence, Rhode Island.

David Kowalczyk

David Kowalczyk divides his time between the woods outside Batavia, New York and Tempe, Arizona. He has taught English in South Korea, Mexico and at Arizona State. His poems have been published in Wales, Turkey and New Zealand. David Kowalczyk has three collections of poems to his credit, A Gentle Metamorphosis (Full Court Press, 1993), Stealing the Sky (Last Peso Press, 1999) and Invisible Vienna (West Town Press, 2005). His writing has been included in four poetry anthologies and his work has appeared in Cold Mountain Review, California Quarterly, Maryland Review, and St. Ann's Review. He is the former editor of Gentle Strength Quarterly.

Caroline Wilkinson


Caroline Wilkinson went to Vassar College and is the recipient of a grant from the Money for Women/ Barbara Deming Memorial Fund. Her work has appeared in DIAGRAM, Can We Have Our Ball Back?, Memorious, and Konundrum Engine. She also reviews small-press publications through her website, carolinewilkinson.com. She lives in upstate New York.

Jess Del Balzo


Jess Del Balzo was formerly a student at Emerson College in Boston where she studied Writing, Literature and Publishing. White attending Emerson, she was a member of the Boston Intercollegiate Slam Team, "200". She has released a spoken word album, "Lampshade Girls & other renegades". Her writing has appeared in Edifice Wrecked, Vox, Thieves Jargon and in several anthologies. Jess Del Balzo currently lives in New York.

Debrah Morkun


Debrah Morkun received a MFA in Writing and Poetics at Naropa University in 2004. In 2005, she served as Coordinator of the Internship Program at the Bowery Poetry Club in New York. She is one of the founders of the group known as The New Philadelphia Poets, a group committed to expanding the spaces for modern poetry in Philadelphia. Her work has appeared in Moria, Venereal Kittens and is forthcoming in Third Wednesday. She teaches English and Writing at Temple University and The Community College of Philadelphia.

V. Ulea


V. Ulea (Vera Zubarev) is a Russian-English poet, critic, photographer and film director. She graduated from the Odessa University Philology Department in the former Soviet Union. In 1990 she arrived in the U.S., published her first book of poetry, Aura, and was awarded the title "Poet of the Year" by the Pushkin Organization. She has published eleven books of poetry, prose, and literary theory. Her work has appeared in The Literary Review, Princeton Arts Review, Mind Matters and The Eclectic Muse. She is the editor of the Russian journal Gostinaya. Her cycle of poems, "Letter from Another Planet", has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. She teaches Comparative Literature and Russian Language at The University of Pennsylvania.

Jim Fuess


Jim Fuess earned his B.A. and M.A. at Goddard College in English and Comparative Religion, respectively. He is currently studying Comparative Literature at U. Mass Amherst. Fuess is the Chairperson and Founder of the New Art Group (NAG). He is a former member of the Executive Board of Directors and Vice President for Visual Arts at the Watchung Arts Center. He has lived abroad in New Zealand, Africa, Italy and South America. Since 1979, Fuess has had over 40 solo shows and facilitated over 90 as curator. He currently lives in New Jersey.
